Staff
Care Managers are professionals whose educational background stems from a variety of disciplines, such as nursing, social work, and case management. Care managers have extensive training and experience in assessing clients, developing and monitoring the effectiveness of care plans, as well as accessing and coordinating community situations with numerous professionals.
Becky Birch, BA, MA, CMC
Becky has a Master of Arts in Counseling from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio State University. She also has a Care Manager Certification (CMC) through the National Academy of Certified Care Managers. Becky joined Life Care Solutions, Inc. in November of 2007 as a Care Manager. Prior to working at Life Care Solutions she accumulated 16 years experience working with seniors and disabled people in all settings including in home and continuing care communities. While not at work Becky enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her cats. She enjoys watching educational television, comedies, and movies. She also enjoys traveling and outdoor activities.
Kelly earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work with
concentration in Adult and Late Life Challenges and a certificate in
Animal-Assisted Therapy from the University of Denver. She received her
Bachelor’s of Social Work with minors in psychology and Spanish from
Valparaiso University. She is also continuing her Alzheimer’s
Certificate through the Alzheimer’s Association. Kelly began her career
at Life Care Solutions in June of 2010 as a Care Manager. Before working
at Life Care Solutions Kelly worked as a social worker on a psychiatric
inpatient unit and in social services for an independent and assisted
living facility for low-income seniors. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys a
wide variety of interests ranging from hiking and rock climbing to oil
painting, cooking, and knitting/ crocheting.
Patti Haney

BS
Patti received a Bachelor of Arts in Behavior Science with an emphasis in Sociology from Loretto Heights College in Denver, Colorado. She also received a Paralegal Certificate from the Denver Paralegal Institute in 1982. Patti began working as a Care Manager at Life Care Solutions in October of 1996. Prior to working at Life Care Solutions Patti worked as a Paralegal for various law firms in Colorado Springs and as a Trust Officer for 11 years from 1985 to 1996. While not at work Patti enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Care Manager Assistants have professional experience working with the elderly and disabled. They work closely under the supervision of a Care Manager in administering the day-to-day aspects of the care plan.

Theresa Birkes, BA
Theresa obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2010. During her senior year of college she held an internship in Social Services Case Management at a non-profit for Seniors. After graduating she took on the position full time. She joined Life Care Solutions in April of 2011 as a Care Manager Assistant. In her free time, Theresa likes to read novels, celebrity gossip magazines, and fashion magazines. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, and Sumi Ink Painting.
Kristen Brandenburg,
BA
Kristen has a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She began working at Life Care Solutions in January of 2010 as a Care Manager Assistant. Kristen previously worked as an administrative assistant at Pepsi Cola from 2005 to 2009. In 2009 she also worked for the Colorado Medical Weight Loss Center as a receptionist. While not working Kristen enjoys knitting, scrapbooking, being a member of Pi Beta Phi, and attending Colorado Rapids games.
The Office Staff is made up of an Office Manager and Administrative Assistant. The office staff provides support functions which include, but are not limited to: phone management, bookkeeping/ accounting, bill paying, personal needs account maintenance, and other office operations and functions.
Sindy Beauchamp
Sindy has taken some General Education College courses; she is currently working towards a Diploma in Medical Billing and Coding. Sindy joined Life Care Solutions in February 2002 as an Administrative Assistant; she now holds the title the Office Manger. She has worked as a Teller in suspense accounts and as a computer operator. Outside of work Sindy enjoys doing puzzles, crocheting, reading, and computer games.
Matt Dahmen, BSBA
Matt has a Bachelor of Science in Business and Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. He has been an Administrative Assistant at Life Care Solutions since April of 2008. While not at work Matt enjoys spending time with friends, watching television, playing cards, swimming, and playing tennis.
