Professional Guardianship

A Guardianship is a legal structure to assist with the personal affairs, health, and well being of an individual who is functionally incapacitated or lacks sufficient understanding or capacity to make or communicate reasonable decisions concerning his/her person.

As Guardian, Life Care Solutions will arrange for care and protection for the client, make decisions on living arrangements, arrange for food, clothes, personal care items, spiritual needs, housekeeping, transportation and recreation for the client, arrange for health care, and maintain sufficient contact with the client so that we are aware of his or her capacities, limitations, needs, opportunities and physical and mental health. 

To the extent possible, we encourage the client to participate in decision-making and when he or she is unable to do so, we consider his or her expressed desires and personal values when making decisions on his or her behalf.
